An idyllic gem, perfectly designed

This holiday home is a true delight, decorated with incredible taste and attention to comfort. We immediately felt at home thanks to the welcoming atmosphere and superb finish. The bedrooms were stunning, and the beds incredibly comfortable. The location is ideal, with so much to do nearby—from the marl caves of Kanne to C-mine, the Lanaken market, and scenic cycling routes. Every day was a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation, capped off by a final barbecue. Limburg truly has it all, and ‘De Sjieper’ makes the best of it.

Like heaven in Limburg!

Our stay was nothing short of splendid. From breakfast to dinner, every moment on the beautiful terrace was a joy. The holiday home itself was atmospheric, cozy, and so thoughtfully equipped—it had everything we could possibly need and more. We spent our evenings playing games and our days exploring the area, each trip more memorable than the last. A big thank you to Inge for her warm welcome and all the extra touches that made our stay unforgettable. We can’t wait to return; there’s still so much left to discover!

We had a wonderful week in this charming holiday home. Everything was meticulously prepared, making it an ideal retreat for both young and old. Set in a peaceful oasis, the house is ideally located, offering a perfect balance of tranquility and activities. Inge’s hospitality brought warmth and ease to our stay. From the bakery service to the delectable cheese platter and a memorable meal by a private chef, every moment was a joy. This home truly offers a touch of luxury and charm that we won’t soon forget.

Family time to remember

Our family, from 67 years old to just under 2, all found something to love in this spacious, thoughtfully equipped holiday villa. With a sunny terrace and a large garden, there were endless nooks for relaxing with a book or enjoying an afternoon nap. We made cherished memories around the long table by the fireplace, playing games together and soaking in the cozy Limburg hospitality. This home was a hit, helping us reconnect in the best possible way.

We loved the peaceful garden, cozy fireplace, and scenic walks around the neighborhood. Every morning’s breakfast, delivered with great care, was a delicious start to the day. This is a place to relax in stylish and luxurious surroundings, the perfect way to recharge.

Warm hospitality from the start

From our very first contact, we felt genuinely welcomed by Inge. Walking into De Sjieper was a revelation—the decor is both tasteful and wonderfully comfortable, with everything you could wish for thoughtfully provided. The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were luxurious, and even the little things, like blankets for chilly evenings and wood for the terrace stove, were ready for us. A beautiful meal prepared by Chef Jolien at a carefully styled table was the perfect finishing touch. ‘Enjoyment’ truly defined our stay.

Celebrating in style

This year, we had something special to celebrate, and Inge thought of everything to make it perfect. We arrived to find a lovely bouquet and a bottle of wine from a local vineyard waiting for us. With the weather on our side, we enjoyed cycling with e-bikes, exploring Maastricht, and savoring a delicious barbecue. Waking up each day to views of deer grazing nearby was magical. We couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful place to mark our celebration.

We came for five days and were captivated by this paradise in the Maasland region. Every detail was handled to perfection, from unique touches in the decor to thoughtful local tips. We spent our days cycling, hiking, eating, and drinking, but most of all, we enjoyed each other’s company in this charming, welcoming home.
